Assistant Principal

Hello, Killearn Lakes Elementary! I am thrilled to join your school as the Assistant Principal. My career in education began here in Tallahassee at Florida State University (Go Noles) , and I have worked in Leon County Schools since I graduated.  

Most recently, I served as Assistant Principal of Curriculum at Fort Braden K-8, where I had the opportunity to lead instructional initiatives and support teachers in their professional growth. Before that, I spent eight years as an ESE teacher at Chiles High School, and I also taught ELA and ESE at Montford Middle School for several years. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for the diverse needs of our learners and the importance of creating inclusive, supportive learning environments where students can thrive.

I am excited to be part of the Killearn Lakes family and look forward to working collaboratively with our dedicated staff, families, and students. My goal is to help every student succeed academically and personally. 

I cannot wait to get to know this wonderful community and to contribute to the continued success of our school!
