Originally from Clewiston, Florida, I moved to Tallahassee in June of 2023. My boxer, Emmitt, loves to hear about my school days!
I attended Troy University with a concentration in business before graduating from Florida Atlantic University in 1998 with a Bachelor’s degree in K-6 Elementary Education, as well as an ESOL Endorsement. I have had the privilege of teaching grades 1 through 8 over the course of my career from South Florida to Nashville, Tennessee. I also served as a staff developer for Broward County Public Schools for the Elementary Learning Department, specializing in English Language Arts.
I love to read, attend sporting events, go to concerts, and spend time with my family.
My best memories are my elementary years. I hope to be a small part of a child's love for learning and his best memories in life.
