Welcome to KLES First Grade! My name is Donna Willis, and I am so excited to be your child’s teacher this year.

I have been teaching for over 23 years and truly love what I do. I earned my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Florida State University in 1999. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to teach first, second, third, fifth grade, as well as VPK. Each grade level has helped shape the teacher I am today, and first grade holds a very special place in my heart.

A little bit about me personally—I am married and have two children, Ethan and Ella Kate. During the school year, we spend most of our weekends on the soccer fields cheering them on, and in the summer, you can usually find us enjoying time at the beach.

I look forward to working together with you to make this a successful, positive, and fun school year for your child. Please feel free to reach out at any time with questions or concerns—I am here for you. We are a team, and communication is key to your child’s success.

Most importantly, please know I will love and care for your child as if they were my own. I am truly looking forward to an amazing year together!
