Killearn Lakes Elementary

My name is Leah Colson and I am so excited to be your Kindergarten teacher! This year will be filled with lots of learning, lots of discovery and a lot of fun! 

This will be my third year teaching Kindergarten at KLES. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from Florida International University. Prior to working at Killearn Lakes, I taught Preschool and VPK for four years.

I have three amazing children! My son is a freshman at UF, my daughter is a junior at Chiles High School, and my youngest daughter is in fourth grade here at KLES. I enjoy spending time with my family, trips to the beach, gardening and making jewelry.
