Katie Stemle - Media
Hi there! My name is Katie Stemle and I am the Media Specialist here at Killearn Lakes. I am honored to have THE BEST job on campus!
I was born in Orlando, FL, but my family moved to Tallahassee when I was one year old and I have been here every since! Fun fact, I attended Killearn Lakes Elementary school and I love being a leprechaun!
I graduated from Flagler College in 2004 and spent the first 20 years of my teaching career in the classroom teaching Kindergarten, and then First Grade. All things books and reading has always been my passion, and in 2024, I moved into the library and began my new role as a Media Specialist. I absolutely LOVE being a librarian and the best part of my job is getting to know all of the students here at KLES!
In my spare time I love to read, travel (especially to the beach!), and spend time with my family and friends. My husband, Alex, is an Assistant Principal at Godby High School and we have two amazing boys, Leo and Harlan.
