Coleen Sellers

I am so blessed to be celebrating my 31st year in education! I began my teaching career at Fort Braden Middle School, where I taught for seven years, before making my way to Killearn Lakes Elementary School, where I have spent the rest of my teaching career.

Over the years, I have had the opportunity to teach in ESE for three years and the remainder teaching first grade, which is truly my favorite! There is something so special about watching my first graders learn, grow, gain confidence, and discover the joy of reading and learning.

Outside of school, I am married to my wonderful husband, Bruce, and we are the proud parents of two amazing children. Our son, Ryan, is a police officer in North Carolina, and our daughter, Stephanie, is a sales coordinator in Savannah, Georgia. They make us incredibly proud!

When I'm not at school, you can usually find me surrounded by my many, many sweet and furry friends! 🐾 They bring so much love and joy to my life.

I feel incredibly fortunate to have spent so many years doing what I love—teaching children and making a difference in their lives. ❤️
