Welcome to K-2 ESE Resource! I love teaching so much that this will be my 30th year teaching at Killearn Lakes! Before that, I worked for 5 years at Woodland Hall Academy.

I have a wonderful husband, Carl, and three children; Travis, Amy, and Taylor. I am fortunate that all my children and grandchildren live in Tallahassee. My daughter Amy and her husband, Jon, have three sweet daughters; Amelia, Piper, and Elliott. My daughter Taylor and her husband, Tony, have a daughter, Julia, and a son, Conner!

I earned my Elementary Education degree at Stetson University in Deland, Florida. I am certified in Specific Learning Disabilities, and have endorsements in ESOL and Reading. Florida State University was a great place to earn my master's degree in Educational Leadership & Administration. In 2002, I earned National Board Certification.

I believe that successful learning is naturally fun, and look forward to a very fun year!

Welcome! My name is Lindsey Walkup and I am so excited to be your child's Resource teacher. I was born and raised here in Tallahassee. I started teaching at KLES in 2019.  I graduated from Florida State University with my bachelors and Master’s degrees in Special Education.I have endorsements in Reading, ESOL and Autism. I'm married to my husband, Jonathan. We have one daughter Madison, and two labs, Remi and Rip.  In my free time, I enjoy shopping, going to the beach, reading, and hanging out with my family and friends. I can't wait to get to know you all and look forward to a wonderful school year.
