Originally from Jacksonville, Florida, I moved to Tallahassee in June of 2008. My husband, Danny, and I were married on October 10, 2009. We are the proud parents of our beautiful daughter, Addison, and our son, Alexander.

I graduated from the University of North Florida in 2006 with a Bachelor’s degree in K-6 Elementary Education, as well as an ESOL Endorsement. In the fall of 2011, I earned a Master’s in Elementary Education with a specialization in Integrating Technology into Classroom Instruction. In 2021, I was able to add a Reading Endorsement to my certificate, as well! My first teaching experience was in Clay County. For two years, I taught 6th and 3rd grade respectively. Since moving to Leon County in 2008, I have taught Kindergarten, 3rd grade, and 2nd grade (by far my favorite grade) !

In my spare time I love to read and cook for my friends and family. My husband and I also love to travel, especially on cruises. We've been all over the Caribbean and several countries in Europe. I hope our next big trip will be to the Greek Isles!

Learning is an adventure and I look forward to an exciting year in second grade learning right alongside my students.
