TALLAHASSEE, FL– LCS announces Tyler Fulton, Computer Support Technician, as the 2025–2026 Leon County Schools (LCS) School-Related Employee of the Year. In just two years with the district—and two years serving the Roberts community—Mr. Fulton has distinguished himself as an indispensable member of the school’s team.

“An Exceptional Professional”

Colleagues across the Roberts campus praise Mr. Fulton not only for his technical skill but also for his character and commitment.

“Tyler’s knowledge is vast… his interpersonal skills and his willingness to be a team player make him a perfect choice for this esteemed honor,” said Principal Kim McFarland. She added that he has proven himself to be “an exceptional professional whose dedication, knowledge, and positive attitude have already made a lasting impact on our entire school community.”

Media Specialist Kristie Stephens also highlighted his presence and professionalism on campus, noting that he is “kind, polite, and always has a smile and a kind word.” She added, “Tyler is out and about on campus for much of the day helping teachers run their classrooms and offering his support so lessons and learning are not interrupted.”

Fulton’s commitment to Roberts Elementary extends well beyond his official duties. He routinely volunteers in other operational and student-centered roles, including:
  • Supporting the arts and communications teams with sound and lighting technology for the school’s musical theater productions
  • Assisting with WRES, the school’s morning news program
  • Playing a vital role in afternoon dismissal by helping manage the “Red Boxes” student organization system
  • Assisting with the Pikmykid platform to support safe and orderly after-school procedures

He is also recognized for building meaningful relationships with students and staff, guiding families in navigating digital tools, and serving as a calm, dependable presence throughout the school day.
Congratulations Tyler!
